Homewood Ave. Channel House

The Homewood Ave. Channel House is owned by Dale & Karen Strassburg from Coon Rapids, MN. They bought this house to have a place to get away and to visit friends and relatives in the Shawano area. Dale is the youngest of a family of seven and Karen is the oldest of a family of twelve. They have plenty of family to visit. When they saw this house they fell in love with it. The Homewood Ave. Channel House has new furniture and all the lovely decorating a new homeowner is so proud to add. Ron and Bonnie will rent the house for them because Bonnie and Dale are brother and sister.

The Homewood Ave Channel House is a large home located on a wooded lot with 90 feet of frontage on the Channel between Shawano Lake and the Wolf River. There is excellent fishing on the dock and on the channel. You are about 5 minutes from the lake by boat and a couple miles to the Wolf River. The Channel has a silty bottom, so you may want to go to the sand bar for swimming at the end of the channel leading into Shawano Lake.

The house is located on a quiet street with beautiful views from most rooms and a large deck with double patio doors overlooking the channel. There is a walkout from the lower level to a patio overlooking the channel.

The home sleeps 8 people with three bedrooms and a heated breezeway. One bedroom has a king size bed, one has a queen size bed, one has two twin beds, and the heated breezeway has two twins. The home has two full baths and a half bath. There is a washer and dryer, dishwasher, gas grill and many extras.
